About This Event

The Twenty Fifth US FreedomWalk Festival will take place over the weekend of October 16-18 October 2026. The US FreedomWalk Festival® is a weekend long, non-competitive, social walking challenge bringing participants of all ages and abilities together for fun, fitness, and international friendship. Virginia Square is a growing neighborhood popular for its walkability, coffee shops and local restaurants. There's a unique blend of institutions, education, ... Metro acceptable to the heart of the nation's capital.

AVA/IVV Welcome Walk 3 or 6 Miles (5, 10 Kilometers) Event Location: START & FINISH - American Legion Post 139,3445 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201:Friday; Event Day Registration 10:00 am till 3:00 pm, 5 +/- & 10 +/- Start between 12:00 noon - 3:00 pm Finish by 6:00 pm, BIKE: IVV credit only $4.00. Hours 12 noon - 4:00 pm, Swim times TBD, Opening Ceremony 3 pm; Saturday 21 +/- km start 8:00 am - 11:00 am,12 +/- km start 8:00 am - 12:00 noon, Bike: IVV credit only $4.00. Hours: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, Swim: TBD, IVV credit only, Social: Hours: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
